Tulasi Ram Regmi joins Hyatt Place Butwal as the new HR Manager

Hyatt Place Butwal has announced the appointment of Tulasi Ram Regmi as its new HR Manager

Tulasi has completed his Master’s in HR from Kampala Int. University & brings over two decades of progressive experience in Human resource management, employee relations, talent development, and organisational effectiveness across manufacturing, corporate, hospitality, and international operations. He began his professional journey in 2001, teaching in 2005 in Nepal, and later he moved to Kampala, Uganda (East Africa), and advanced his career in hospitality for 11.6 years with Ruparelia Group of  Companies in Kampala, Uganda. In Feb 2017, he moved back to Nepal and joined as Senior HR Manager in Chaudhary Group, where he led large-scale engagement initiatives, HR analytics, and policy standardisation.

In June 2023, Tulasi worked as HR Manager at Perfetti Van Melle Nepal Pvt. Ltd. Tulasi  was being re-hired at Chaudhary Group, Nepal and associated as Chief Manager HR & Operation.  

Across these diverse roles in Nepal and abroad, Tulasi has consistently demonstrated expertise in full cycle talent management, compensation & benefits design, labor law compliance, HRIS systems  including workday, and building high-performance, guest-focused cultures. He is recognized for his  strategic mindset, data-driven decisions, and people-first leadership style. With his deep industry  knowledge and international perspective, Tulasi will play a pivotal role in nurturing colleagues and  delivering exceptional experiences at Hyatt Place Butwal.
